Looking for a home with a garden or access to outdoor space?
Thu 09 Jul 2020
Property Portal Rightmove have done some data crunching, and using their own data as well as a recent survey of 4,000 home movers, they’ve discovered that since lockdown there has been a marked shift in the priorities of those looking to move home.
The biggest change for both buyers and renters, is the desire for a bigger garden, or access to a garden. In May, renters on Rightmove searching for homes with gardens saw an increase of 84% (compared to May last year) and for buyers, this figure was 42%.
With that in mind, if lockdown has caused you to evaluate what you’re looking for in a home, we have lovely properties with great outdoor spaces which might spark your imagination – and you never know, one could even be your dream home…
