Following the advice from the Government concerning the Covid-19 pandemic, as we make plans to temporarily close our office (the first time since the office opened in 1933) and work from home, we want to bring you as much information as we can regarding the situation with your tenancy.

As this is unchartered territory, changes may have to be made as the situation unfolds over the next few weeks as we continue to offer our service to you.

Property Management at Wills & Smerdon
If you are living in a property managed by Wills & Smerdon please be aware that we will use our best endeavours to deal with maintenance issues.  We have to be understanding of contractors who may not be able to attend or may refuse to attend due to the possible risks to health. Please note that If you have an urgent maintenance issue or emergency which cannot be left please call the office number 01483 284141 during working hours or ring Andrew from Woodstock Property Services on 07783 393735 and we will deal with this using the contractors we have available to us. This is a change to our normal out of hours service so please do make a note of this number.

If you are living in a property managed by your landlord, I would ask that you continue to contact your landlord in the usual way.  However, if you are unable to reach your landlord please do contact us.  We are here to support you during this difficult time.

What if you rent is affected with wills and smerdon in east horsley or ripley
On that note, if you find yourselves in the situation where you are unable to pay your rent please do let us know immediately and we will contact your landlord to discuss this. 

Wills and smerdon will be working from home during the coronavirus pandemic.

We are putting a strategy in place to enable us to work from home.  Our lettings software is cloud-based and so we are able to access our office computers remotely. We will be working normal business hours for the foreseeable future and can be contacted by email as usual.  We can pick up calls to the office using our mobile phones so please ring the office number if you would like to speak to us.  Please call or email before coming into the office.

We are adapting our way of working to ensure that we fulfil our obligations to you and would ask for your understanding in these difficult times.  We are constantly updated by a number of industry sources and will keep in touch with you so you remain informed.
